Educational Benefits

Many staff and faculty members who come to Cornell find that they want to stay. To assist these employees in their continued growth and active engagement in their fields of expertise, Cornell offers several educational assistance programs.

Cornell Children's Tuition Scholarship (CCTS)

Employee Degree Program

Extramural Study

Tuition Aid

New York's 529 College Saving Program

Educational Tax Credits

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program
The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on Direct Loans if you meet certain requirements.  As an employer, Cornell meets the requisite of being a “qualifying employer” in that it is a not-for-profit organization, tax exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the IRC.  Benefit Services can authorize the “Employment Certification Form” attesting the employer information. Visit the website for information on application guidelines and contact information should you have additional questions about qualifying.
